This has been quite a year. I managed to graduate from high school. That was a tough deal. School was always pretty easy for me. That is until you run out of steam and just want it to end as fast as possible. On top of school, though, I managed to get out there a little more, socially speaking. I met some interesting people, and some people I wish never came into my life, but that's how life goes, doesn't it? You encounter new people every day. Some pass in and out of your life with near no effect, and others make such an impact that it may change parts of you as a person.
I've managed to meet a great guy who I've been with for several months already. It's amazing how fast time flies by. I won't spill my personal life on to the internet, so I'll just end with something like this: I am legitimately happy. There are things that bring me down, but when you ask, "Sarah, are you happy?" I can only say yes.
Before the school year ended I decided that it would not be the best choice for me to immediately go to college or university. That I was going to wait a year, if not less. I've been taking my time off to (lazily) look for work, and see what kind of work fields might interest me and make a good career for me. It's a little tough, to be honest. So I've been bored a lot lately. Why not do art with my free time? That's a good question... I have been trying to. I have to have a handful of pieces by next week completed. Woo... I need all the luck I can get.
Anyway. Things I'm looking forward to.... Well I'm looking forward to my birthday (sort of). It's only 19, but it's one more year forward so I can't complain. Christmas, I get to spend time with everyone all at once, which is always nice seeing as half my family is on the other side of town and I don't see them all too often. But yeah. This should be a good end of the year. I'm looking forward to starting next year, just to see what interesting things it brings.
